Job Description

1. Oversee and manage relationships with product vendors to ensure quality and timely delivery.

2. Supervise and lead the production team, fostering a collaborative environment and ensuring effective communication.

3. Identify, source, and procure high-quality fabrics in line with design requirements and production needs.

4. Monitor the production process, ensuring that products meet quality standards from inception to final output.

5. Coordinate with design, marketing, and operations teams to ensure alignment on product details, stock levels, and production schedules.

6. Demonstrate strong leadership skills and manage production operations effectively to achieve organizational goals.

7. Address and resolve production issues and unforeseen challenges promptly to ensure smooth operations.

8. Handle and process vendor invoices, ensuring accuracy and timely payment.

9. Determine appropriate pricing strategies and production quantities based on market analysis and company objectives.

10. Negotiate terms and conditions with suppliers to secure the best deals for quality materials and services.

11. Maintain direct communication with both local and overseas vendors to ensure clear understanding and compliance with production requirements.

12. Prepare and provide clear documentation to vendors, using platforms like WeChat, WhatsApp, or video calls to ensure understanding of tasks and expectations.

13. Build and maintain strong, positive relationships with vendors to foster long-term partnerships.

14. Ensure that all products meet the established quality standards and specifications set by the company.

15. Create and manage purchase orders for all products, ensuring accuracy and adherence to production schedules.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in design or textile or any related field.

• 4+ years of experience in production management (fashion industry - garment)

• Proficient with Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Microsoft (Office, Powerpoint, Excel)

• Strong understanding of fashion production processes, fabric sourcing, and quality control.

• Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Ability to meet multiple deadlines.

• Strong leadership and management abilities.

• Effective negotiation skills for dealing with suppliers and vendors.

• Proficiency in Mandarin is a BONUS.
